Amakhosi have bolstered their squad with three new faces following their decision to release five players last week
Kaizer Chiefs have announced that they have signed three players for the upcoming 2018/19 PSL season.
Khama CBilliat, Lehlogonolo Mirwa and Andriamirado ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana have all joined the Soweto giants.
Amakhosi had been criticised for their lack of urgency in appointing a new head coach, and while they released five players last week, they were expected to sign quality players to replace those who have left the club.
Now, the club has confirmed the arrival of Billiat on a free transfer from Mamelodi Sundowns. Billiat spent five seasons at the Brazilians, and while he was tipped to go abroad, Chiefs tabled an offer he couldn’t turn down.
Billiat headlines the group of three players that the Glamour Boys have signed so far, and the Soweto giants are expected to sign more players in the coming weeks.
The Zimbacbwe international has signed a three-year deal with the Glamour Boys with an option to renew for a further year, Chiefs announced.
With the PSL season set to get underway on the weekend of the 3rd/4th August 2018, changes were inevitable at Naturena, especially after going three full seasons without a major silverware.
Here is the statement released by Amakhosi:

Andrianarimanana was selected as the best player of the recently finished 2018 Cosafa Cup, which was held in South Africa.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome these players into the Kaizer Chiefs family,” the club’s Football Manager Bobby Motaung announced.
Further announcements on players will follow as well on the new coach.
