The Team of Choice chairman has revealed that their star player’s move to Chloorkop is not a done deal as yet
It has been widely reported that Ndlovu will leave the club at the end of the season and join the Tshwane giants following former teammate Lebohang Maboe, who completed his move to Sundowns at the beginning of the campaign.
However, while Maritzburg’s club chairman Farook Kadodia has refused to comment on the deal, he has revealed that the 22-year-old is yet to agree to personal terms with the Chloorkop-based outfit.
“No, I’m not commenting on those stories until the player signs personal terms, then I can talk about it. We must give him time and space,’’ Kadodia told Daily Sun.
Ndlovu, who walked away with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) Midfielder of the Season and Young Player of the Year awards last season is believed to have a keen admirer in Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane.
The 54-year-old mentor has previously suggested that he will look to bring in a few more names as he looks to freshen up his line-up.
Nonetheless, Mosimane will hope that Ndlovu will have the same effect as Maboe, if he is to complete a move to Sundowns.
Maboe has already endeared himself to the Sundowns faithful having scored three goals in 10 league appearances.

Ndlovu on the other hand is yet to live up to the heights which he so impressively set for himself last season.
The South Africa international is yet to score this season as Maritzburg currently find themselves in 12th place on the league standings just a point adrift of bottom placed Black Leopards.
While Sundowns are still favourites to land Ndlovu, Pirates were also previously reported to be interested in signing the midfielder.
