The Melbourne Rebels beat the Western Force 25-20 after Super Time was needed to settle their Super Rugby AU match at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney on Friday.
AS IT HAPPENED | Force v Rebels
Rebels fullback Reece Hodge missed a 60m penalty attempt on the stroke of full-time to see the match end 20-20 in regulation time, forcing Super Time with the first team to score any points taking the spoils.
Rebels No 8 Isi Naisarani then barged over in the second minute of time added on to seal the win.
It was the Rebels’ second win in Super Rugby AU, while the Force remain winless after four games.
