Manchester United host Burnley in the Premier League on Thursday looking to bounce back from their disappointing draw against Newcastle.
Edinson Cavani came off the bench to salvage a point for Ralf Rangnick’s men against a Newcastle side battling to escape relegation.
Rangnick did not hide his displeasure at the nature of his side’s performance after the game and he will be keen to get Man Utd back on track as they hunt down a place in the top four.
Here’s how the Red Devils could line up.
David De Gea (GK) – United’s predicament would be considerably worse were it not for the Spaniard’s heroics this season.
Diogo Dalot (RB) – The Portuguese has dislodged Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the starting lineup in recent weeks.
Raphael Varane (CB) – Looked rusty in his return from injury at St James’ Park on Monday.
Harry Maguire (CB) – Often harshly singled out for Man Utd’s failings, but his recent performances have justified criticism.
Luke Shaw (LB) – Could replace Alex Telles as Rangnick looks to rotate amid a busy period of games.
Scott McTominay (DM) – The Scot has endeared himself to Rangnick with his relentless energy in midfield.
Fred (DM) – A quiet performance against Newcastle, but his general performances have improved since Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s departure.
Bruno Fernandes (AM) – The creative hub in this side and capable of turning games in an instant.
Jadon Sancho (AM) – Likely to replace Rashford as one of the attacking midfielders behind the forward line.
Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) – The talisman at Old Trafford and he’ll be looking to fill his pockets against a vulnerable Burnley side.
Edinson Cavani (ST) – Made a big impact with his energy off the bench against Newcastle and he was rewarded with a goal.
