Medeama winger Derrek Fordjour has expressed disappointment following his side’s defeat to Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League week 11 clash.
The Yellow and Mauves succumbed to a narrow defeat at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, courtesy Sheriff Mohammed’s strike.
The Porcupine Warriors were awarded a penalty in the 60th minute and Sheriff made no mistake as he converts from the spot to hand the Ghanaian giants victory.
Speaking to Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com, the attacker expressed his disappointment following defeat against Kotoko.
“It’s a painful defeat. We did our best against Asante Kotoko but suffered a painful defeat” he said.
The CAF Champions League campaigners are 8th on the Ghana Premier League table with 16 points after 11 games.
