2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Week 33 Match Report – Bibiani Gold Stars 2-0 Medeama

Bibiani Goldstars delivered an outstanding performance to beat Medeama to secure maximum points in matchday 33 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The game took placed at Duns Park, where Goldstars prevailed with a 2-0 win over the Yellow and Mauve in the thrilling encounter.

Medeama were handed an early scare after Ronald Frimpong scored to give Goldstars the lead. The host went to the halftime break with the lead.

Putting on a stellar performance, Alex Aso scored three minutes to full time to seal victory for the home team.

This means Goldstars have avenged their 1-0 defeat to Medeama in the first round of the Ghanaian top-flight.

Goldstars have moved to 10th position on the Ghana Premier League standings, accumulating 46 points after 33 matches.

Medeama, on the other hand, have dropped to the six position on the table with 49 points.

Goldstars will travel to face Legon Cities in the final Ghana Premier League on Sunday whiles Medeama battles Karela United.
