We will survive relegation – Great Olympics assistant coach Orlando Wellington

Accra Great Olympics assistant coach, Orlando Wellington, is confident his side will survive in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

He made this remark after his side hard fought 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon in the Matchday 32 games.

Despite the win, the two Premier League champions sit 16th on the league log with 39 points.

After the win over Kotoko, the veteran coach stated his belief that the Dade Boys would survive the drop.

“Yes, there is a way for us to get out of the relegation zone,” he told StarTimes.

“This is what we are fighting for, that’s why I’m very very happy that we collected these three maximum points here in Kumasi.”

Great Olympics will take on Dreams FC in a midweek clash on Wednesday, June 5 before hosting their city rivals, Hearts of Oak in the Matchday 33 games this weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium.
