Nana Boateng reacts to playing his first game for Jeonbuk Hyundai

Nana Boateng couldn’t contain his joy after taking to the field for the first time as a Jeonbuk Hyundai player.

The Ghanaian midfielder, adorned in the club’s iconic colors, showcased his immense talent and left an indelible mark on the pitch during his long-awaited debut.

Coach Petrescu put Boateng in the midfield along with Park Jin-seop as a starter in Jeonbuk’s game against Suwon FC on the 16th of July.

It was the first selection after the announcement of the transfer on the 12th of July, so it was an adventure in a way for the player.

However, in this game, Boateng drew applause from Jeonbuk fans with his stable possession of the ball along with several sharp passes. Afterward, he was replaced by Song Min-gyu in the second half, completing his K-League debut.

After the game, Boateng said, “It was an honor to play for Jeonbuk. I was able to perform well and I am most happy to win,”

“I have been with coach Petrescu for two years, so I know the coach’s soccer well. decided,”

“It’s been 10 days since I came to Korea. Everything I’ve experienced so far has been fine. Except for the hot weather, there is nothing particularly difficult there is,”
