Dreams FC attacker Abdul Aziz Issah happy with hard-fought victory over Soccer Intellectuals in FA Cup quarterfinals

Dreams FC attacker Abdul Aziz Issah was pleased with his team’s victory against Soccer Intellectuals in the MTN FA Cup quarterfinals on Thursday afternoon.

The Dawu-based club secured a 1-0 win over their Division One opponents, with Issah scoring the only goal in the first half.

Speaking after the game, Issah acknowledged the difficulty of playing against a lower-league side, saying, “We are okay with the victory because it was a tough game playing against a Division One side. It’s not an easy game, but we are happy to have won.”

Issah also praised the opposition for using the opportunity to motivate themselves against a Premier League side, saying, “It was a good game too.”

The victory sees Dreams FC progress to the semifinals of the MTN FA Cup, where they will look to defend their title and secure a spot in African competition. Issah said, “Our target is to defend the title and go to Africa again. That is our main aim for now.”
