Ghana captain Andre Ayew has shared his excitement after helping Nottingham Forest to maintain their Premier League status.
Ayew was an unused substitute when Nottingham Forest inflicted a 1-0 win over Arsenal to seal their place in the top-flight next season.
Awoyini’s strike in the 19th minute helped to Nottingham Forest to secure the three maximum points.
Although, the season is not over but Nottingham Forest have survived relegation as none of the teams below them can catch up to their position.
Meanwhile, Arsenal suffering defeat in the clash has propelled Manchester City to clinch the title for the third consecutive time.
“Job done. This city ground is unbelievable. Great group of lads, to our fans a big than you, without you all this would not be possible” he posted on Instagram.
Ayew’s contributions on the field have been instrumental in Forest’s success, and he is thrilled to have played a part in securing their Premier League status for the upcoming season.
